Tanners End Lane Pocket Park
Exploring the potential for an under-utilised empty green space in the heart of Edmonton N18, Doodle was commissioned by Enfield Council to undertake a creative public engagement consultation with local residents to capture and generate ideas/designs to renovate the space into something that would benefit the community living around it.
We ran a series of pop-up family friendly community art events both on-site at Tanners End Lane and nearby at neighbouring Pymmes Park, to engage the public and get people thinking about what facilities, activities and events they would like to see in the space, to develop the area into something that could be enjoyed by all. We additionally conducted an online survey to extend our reach to ensure the opportunity to feed in was accessible to all. The Pocket Park project generated a wealth of research that will feed into a design proposal for Enfield Council to develop the space, in line with the voices of the local community.
