Summer Uni Workshops

Doodle has worked in partnership with Enfield’s Youth Development Service’s Summer Uni programme since 2012, running a wide range of free creative courses for young people in the borough aged 11-19, and up to 25 for young people with SEND. Courses have included spray can art, t-shirt/tote bag printing, felt making, mosaic and ceramics and community murals to name a few.

The aims of our Summer Uni courses are for young people to get creative, experiment with new art processes and materials and learn new skills to take forward to either develop hobbies or study further to enrich their futures and bolster career prospects in the creative industries. Either working on their own projects to take home or as part of a team to collaborate on a larger art piece, young people are also able to improve their communication skills and enjoy positive social experiences with new people during their summer holidays.
